Mental Health Week: The power of self-compassion

  • Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre 251 Faraday Street Carlton, VIC, 3053 Australia (map)

Do you find it hard to treat yourself with the same kindness you show your friends and family? Research has shown that the practice of self-compassion greatly enhances emotional well-being and resilience. It boosts happiness, reduces anxiety and depression, and can even help us stick to our goals.

This weekend workshop run by Jossy Jimenez is an invitation to familiarise ourselves with the practice of self-compassion and transform the way in which we relate to suffering, failures, and feelings of inadequacy.

Ages: This workshop is for people aged 15 to 30 years.
